About a year ago, CryoDragon had the pleasure of working with the Centre for Canadian Baseball Research (CCBR) on creating a brand new website for their not-for-profit corporation. Run by Canadian baseball enthusiasts and historians, the CCBR’s purpose is to encourage and facilitate research into baseball’s historical development, with a primary focus on Canada. They house a large research library of baseball history, and organize an annual Canadian Baseball History Conference.
The 4th annual Canadian Baseball History Conference will be held the weekend of November 9th and 10th, 2019 in London, Ontario, home of Labatt Park. 15 presentations have already been planned for the event, as well as a tour of the newly expanded and renovated Museum facility at the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in St. Marys.
CryoDragon had a great time working on this project, and it brings back great memories. We learnt a lot about baseball history, and we remember working with a wonderful team to bring this vision to life. We made sure that the website was easily editable so that the organization could take over after we were done creating the website.
If you are a not-for-profit or charitable organization, don’t forget that CryoDragon offers significant discounts for nonprofits. We love supporting different causes, so if you or someone you know has a nonprofit in need of a website, we can either go with a discount (ongoing throughout the year) or gift websites to causes we really want to support (must go through an application process).
