CryoDragon is pleased to announce the launch of a new website for Hyperpolarized Noble Gas MRI Laboratory at the Thunder Bay Regional Research Institute of Lakehead University! Back in 2015, CryoDragon had actually built HP Gas MRI’s first website as one of our first projects. It is always a wonderful feeling to get to revamp a project years later to make it more modern, and to know that our clients have grown just as much as we have. Apart from that, we have deep gratitude for this research group in selecting us to provide numerous scientific illustrations for their publications.
Led by Dr. Mitchell S. Albert, the lab director and MRI Research Chair, this group of researchers have successfully applied HP gas noble MRI to investigate gas ventilation within the lungs, gas exchange in the alveoli of the lungs, and moment-to-moment functional activity in the brain. Currently, they focus on three branches of research: lung imaging, brain imaging and biosensors for the early detection of lung cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.
For the new website, CryoDragon designed a brand new logo for their team and rebranded their website so that it would match that new brand. Various tones of teal and aqua were used to accentuate different aspects of the website, and modern design techniques were applied for optimal user experience and high contrast. Since it uses a WordPress content management system, the lab members will now have a much easier time updating content as they make new strides in their research. We look forward to seeing what they accomplish in the years to come!
