WooCommerce is capable of a lot of extra features that require the purchase of paid plugins, and our team at CryoDragon not only have the experience in implementing these additional features, but also in creating custom interfaces and features in the front and back ends of the website to make your online store stand out even more.

1) ANALYZE
CryoDragon take a very personal approach to each project we take on. Although designing and developing a website is a task that involves an organized set of procedures, some of the most important work comes before that. It involves us learning about your business, and what you wish to accomplish with your E-Commerce website. We work with you to create a unique solution that’s perfect for you and your vision.
2) STRATEGIZE
Once we have clear goals in mind for your project, we get to work on creating a blueprint for your online store. We work closely with you to determine what kind of items you want to sell, what categories you want to break these items up into, and what kind of shopping experience you want your customers to encounter. Our team at CryoDragon can then determine the best flow to your E-Commerce site, which will lead to an optimized user experience for your site’s visitors.
3) DESIGN
With an organized blueprint and sitemap in hand, we start to design the layout and placement of content for your E-Commerce site. Using the latest design trends and suitable colour combinations that match your brand, we create an initial website template for key pages of your website. These layouts, or “designs”, will be populated throughout the entire website to maintain consistency with your brand identity.
4) DEVELOP
Upon approval of your webpage template and layout, our team at CryoDragon begins to create each page of your website and fill out the design of these pages using content, images and integrated features. Through this development phase, we add functionality to the website, integrate WooCommerce (or another shopping platform) and work towards creating a live site on our staging servers that you can continuously monitor, test, and provide feedback on.
5) LAUNCH
After getting approval to launch, the website is ready to be migrated onto your production servers for the world to see! Prior to launch, we double-check everything from content to functionality, ensuring that the site works on different browsers and that the servers meet the demands of the E-Commerce site. We install SSL certificates and set up payment gateways for your store at this point, and launch the website after testing has been completed.
6) SUPPORT
At CryoDragon, we don’t just build websites and leave you hanging. We are there for you long-term. Since you own the website at the end of the project, you can hire us back to help maintain your E-Commerce store regularly, or hire us to help train your staff in managing the store themselves. We can also help with SEO and digital marketing whenever you need it down the road.

Analytics are integrated into each E-Commerce website we build to help track sales, refunds, and more. There are quick summary reports when you log into the back end of the website to see how well your store is doing, what items are low in stock, which orders still need to be processed, what your top products and categories are, etc. If the feature is not there, CryoDragon can help integrate additional features as needed.
There are countless different payment and shipping options that each E-commerce site we make can support. You can take payments via Stripe and PayPal, or other payment gateways compatible with your E-Commerce platform. We can also integrate the ability to accept credit cards, bank transfers, cheques or cash on delivery.
CryoDragon can customize shipping options to help give your customers the option of picking up their purchases or receiving local or international deliveries. You can also add different shipping rates depending on the number of items purchased, total weight, or even have free shipping for certain products and locations.
Of course! After we have launched your website, we provide training and/or documentation about your E-Commerce store so that you can log in and make changes yourself. If you do not have the time to make these changes yourself, you can always hire us back to maintain and update your website on a regular basis!

As a result, it is crucial to make sure we start your site with a clear category structure that will save time, lots of headaches, and costly modifications later on.
An E-Commerce store can only be deemed secure if it is protected on all fronts. You want to be using secure HTTPS hosting with an SSL certificate, which not only helps with your site’s security, but also your site’s search engine ranking on Google and other search engines. At CryoDragon, we help you through the process of getting the right hosting plan and SSL certificate, so that your customers can be assured that their purchases were made on a secured site. We also help add additional layers of security to your E-Commerce site itself, and help you secure your admin area on your chosen E-Commerce platform.
First of all, when CryoDragon finishes a web design and development project and receives the final payment, we pass on the copyright and ownership of the entire site over to our clients. At that point, it is up to our clients to determine whether they would like to hire us back for an ongoing maintenance plan, or to take care of everything themselves.
Outside of CryoDragon, there may be ongoing fees related to your online store, including web hosting and domain subscriptions that have to be renewed on an annual basis (terms depend on your web host provider). If you have paid plugins that run on your website, these may require annual subscriptions as well.
When you work with CryoDragon, our team will always let you know if any plugin or feature will require any ongoing fees.
Depending on the E-Commerce website design package that you have chosen, it may already come with a certain number of products that our team will set up and upload onto the site for you. If you need additional products to be added onto the store, you can hire us to upload all of your products. We have different options available, including CSV file exporting and importing of product lists, or custom product photography and content writing for products as needed.
In order to create a successful E-Commerce website, CryoDragon needs to work closely with you to learn about your business, who your target audience is, and what kind of products you want to sell. Without that, it will be very difficult to determine the best E-Commerce solution for your online store.
During the first phase of the project, it is very important that we have the following information:
- Type of product being sold
- Who your target audience is
- How many products are being sold, and whether they are standalone products or customizable products (different sizes, colours, etc.)
- How many pages you would want for your E-Commerce site
- What features would you like apart from the online store (such as client logins, advertisements, etc.)
With that information in hand, our Waterloo E-Commerce team can then determine the site structure, plan a sitemap for your site, and develop your E-Commerce store. As the project progresses, we would start seeking content for the website, to be provided by you. We can also write content for you as a paid service.
