We have three web design packages for you to choose from. Due to the custom nature of each project we take on, we provide each of our clients with a personalized quote and proposal. As a result, we have provided ballpark prices below so that you can judge the degree of investment required for each web design package and any of your desired add-ons.
The following website design packages are based on a website using a WordPress content management platform. Some websites are simple, while others are not. The more features you want to add on to your website, the more complex it will get, and the more costly it will become. If you are looking for a complex website with many features, we would recommend going for our Arctic or Cryo packages so that we can integrate your desired features seamlessly into the code.
Here is a list of different features we can add to your website, to be charged at an hourly rate of $80 + HST. Features marked with an asterisk (*) are only available with the Arctic or Cryo packages.

1) ANALYZE
The first step to building a website isn’t figuring out what you want it to look like, it’s learning about your business, your goals, and what you want to achieve with your online presence. At CryoDragon, we take a very personal approach to designing websites. We enjoy sitting down with or speaking to our clients to discover what it is that you truly need, and how we can implement the perfect web solution to achieve your goals.
2) STRATEGIZE
Once we know what your goals are, we start planning out the structure or “skeleton” of your website. In other words, it’s a time for us to figure out which pages you want, and how they are connected to each other. We work with you to determine the flow of your website for the best user experience possible.
3) DESIGN
With an organized plan in mind, it is now time to design your website. This is all about the layout, appearance, or “skin” of the site, which makes it aesthetically-pleasing to your visitors. We utilize the latest design trends and choose the best typography, colours, and content layouts to help draw attention to your page and allow users to easily navigate your site.
4) DEVELOP
As soon as the layout and design of the website has been approved, our team at CryoDragon starts to fill out the design of each webpage by adding all the content, images, and features. Through this development phase, we add functionality to the website and work towards a final product that you can continuously monitor, provide feedback on, and approve prior to launch.
5) LAUNCH
After getting approval to launch, the website is ready to go live! But, it’s not as easy as it sounds. It’s a critical time to double-check all the content, make sure it works on different browsers, and ensure the web servers are set up to successfully launch the site. After we have done this, we launch the website and run a final test and check on the live servers to make sure everything is running perfectly.
6) SUPPORT
At CryoDragon, our team is always here to help, and our services do not end once a website has been launched. We provide training and documentation to those who want it, and we can help maintain, update, and promote your website through the years to come via our maintenance, SEO and digital marketing services. Both, actually! It depends on the website design package that is chosen. Our Frozen package uses pre-built templates that can be sourced online through theme banks. We use these pre-built templates to create suitable page layouts and colour schemes to match your brand, and then add in your content and features prior to launch.
Our Arctic and Cryo website design packages are our custom-designed websites. If you are looking for something custom and unique, we spend a lot more time building sites from scratch, using various different platforms and programming languages.
Every project is managed by the two owners of the company: Craig and Brenda. We are a small business, and we enjoy working closely with each of our clients. Each of our clients can also track the progression of their projects with regular updates from our team.
Absolutely! During the design and development phase of the project, CryoDragon Inc. will own the copyright to all design components. When the website is launched and the final payment received, the ownership and copyright of the website will be passed on to our clients.
At CryoDragon, we can help you decide on a web host provider and select domain and web hosting packages for you to purchase. The reason why we do this is so that you can assume full ownership of the web host account after the payment has been made to the web host provider. If you already have an existing web host provider, we are more than happy to work with them to launch your website on their servers, as long as they meet the needs of your new website.
We do basic research on business information and services for every website project we take on. However, extensive research on your business, market and competitors comes with our Cryo package, as this is a very time-consuming task.
Although CryoDragon can find information about your business on the web or by speaking to our clients, it is always recommended that every client provide us with as much information as possible about their business. You know your business more than we do, and it’s our job to listen to what you do, what you want to achieve, and provide a solution for you.
For our initial consultation, it is crucial that we understand what kind of a website you are looking for. What kind of features would you like, and how many pages would you want on the website. It will help us determine the site structure and start planning a layout for your website.
As the project progresses, we would start seeking content for the website, to be provided by you. We can then partition and integrate your content into the website so that it is easy to navigate for your site’s visitors.
Of course! If you have no time to write content yourself, we can help you create and write content for the website, to be charged at our current hourly rate.
It really depends on the scope of the project. If you’re interested in a Frozen package for a simple, corporate website, then it may take about 3-4 weeks for our entire web design process from start to finish. If you’re interested in a custom design or adding more features, you’ll be looking at over a month for the project to be completed.
Each of our clients will have a lot of input with the website design, especially for the custom sites. For every website that we build, we have a demo site that is placed on our staging servers that you can monitor and provide feedback on whenever we update it. Depending on the web design package you get, the number of revisions will vary, with custom design packages allowing for more revisions.
