There are so many awesome nonprofits in Kitchener-Waterloo and beyond that are always working hard to make the world a better place. At CryoDragon, we support charitable causes and nonprofit efforts. We know that it’s important to get your name out there and save as much money as you can to focus on your cause.

As a result, we offer an ongoing discount of 15% for all nonprofits and charities.

Eligibility Requirements

Provide documentation for not-for-profit or charitable status
Be situated in Canada or the United States of America
Be in existence for over 1 year
Organizations should be not-for-profit, charitable, non-government, non-academic, non-commercial, non-political, and have no religious affiliation

Restrictions

Nonprofit discount only applies to website and graphic design services based on an hourly rate
Packages and plans at a set price (such as maintenance plans, logo design packages, etc.) will not be eligible for nonprofit discounts as they are already at discounted rates
CryoDragon reserves the right to determine whether to offer the nonprofit discount depending on the type and breadth of services required

We Offer Customized Discounts for Scientific Research

Are you a student? Or a researcher? Possibly a lab or academic organization? Due to CryoDragon’s close ties with the academic world, we have chosen to offer an academic discount for academic projects. We don’t have a set academic discount for each project, but we will try out utmost best to help you meet your budget and provide you with the best service for your limited funding.

Eligibility Requirements

Web and graphic design services for academic conferences and events
Web and graphic design for research labs at academic institutions
Web and graphic design for school-based organizations and clubs
Graphic design for scientific schematics and illustrations for research publications, dissertations, etc.
Print and media designs for presentations and displays

Restrictions

CryoDragon does not provide such discounted services for projects not related to research at an academic institution, such as web and graphic design projects for private corporations and organizations
CryoDragon does not provide research-related discounts for projects whose end result is for the purpose of a for-profit outcome (such as textbooks, products, etc.)

Are discounts guaranteed for every nonprofit project?

Discounts are not guaranteed for every single project we take on. We only offer discounts for services based on our hourly rate, and not for services that are already a package deal (such as logo design packages and maintenance plans). We also process discount requests on a case by case basis. Contact us first to see how we can help with your nonprofit project and what kind of deals we can offer you!

Who owns the copyright to design materials after a project is completed?

At CryoDragon, we have a simple code that we always adhere to. For the duration of the project, CryoDragon owns the copyright for all design materials created and provided by our company. However, when the project is completed and the final payment has been received, that copyright and ownership is transferred to our clients. We make sure that you own everything at the end of each project.

Is CryoDragon a freelance organization or an actual business?

At CryoDragon, we are an incorporated Canadian business. We believe in building trustworthy relationships with each of our clients, and we are just as invested in our work as you are in your business.
