Over the past few years, we have worked really hard in starting our web and graphic design business, and making it grow. The CryoDragon Team finally took some time off of our usual busy schedules from April 19th – 29th to go on our first overseas trip to Taipei, Taiwan!
We have broken up our adventure into day-by-day posts.
Day 7: Sun Moon Lake and Boat Tour
For the next days, we went near the central part of Taiwan to visit Sun Moon Lake, a lake in the Yuchi Township, Nantou County of Taiwan. The Sun Moon Lake is the largest body of water in Taiwan, and it home to the Thao tribe of Taiwan. But why is it called “Sun Moon Lake”? Well, it’s because one side of the lake looks like a sun, while the opposite side looks like the moon.
We started off with a nice lunch at the LaLu Hotel, and were able to get some stunning view of the lake just from the hotel itself.

After lunch, we hopped onto a boat, and went on a tour around the lake!

When the boat tour was done, we went on a quick walk around the hotel, by the lake. There was a lot of wildlife (primarily birds and bugs…), and with so many warning signs of dangerous pests, we were happy we didn’t get attacked by anything.

But, before we could finish the trail, a thunderstorm approached and we rushed back to the hotel and spent the evening inside.
