Tryptophan Biosynthesis Pathway
SCIENTIFIC ILLUSTRATION PROJECT
Project Overview
Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) can be produced through various biosynthesis pathways starting from tryptophan. Apart from drawing a mechanism of how an IAA-producing bacteria affects plant roots, CryoDragon was also contracted to draw the full biosynthesis of tryptophan to IAA through various pathways. This work was presented in a doctoral thesis from the University of Waterloo.
