Gemcast has been providing refractory solutions for industry since 1988. They work with their clients to offer custom solutions and products, providing services from design and manufacture to on-site installations and repairs. CryoDragon was hired by Gemcast to provide complete rebranding solutions. We were pleased to redesign their existing logo and website.

As a maker and supplier of refractory materials, their new logo had to represent their growth and the services they provide. To start the design process, we did a thorough research of their business and we knew that we had to emphasize their solutions in keeping the heat within a resistant material. We entertained various ideas, and everyone settled on the version where molten metal (in bright orange) was being poured from a large letter G, through a cold and resistant material (blue to represent “cold”) made up of the remaining letters of their company name.
