Every year, CryoDragon donates a website to a newly established charity to help them increase their online presence. This year in 2016, One Diaper Canada became our charitable partner. One Diaper Canada is a cloth diaper charity that provides cloth diaper kits to families who are experiencing financial burden. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, One Diaper Canada has tons of volunteers that help make cloth diaper kits and train recipients on how to use them.
In North America, diapering one single child with disposable diapers costs a family at least $3,000. That’s a lot of money, and not all families can afford this. For those who are experiencing this problem, the child ends up suffering from serious health problems because dirty disposable diapers are reused or not changed regularly enough. This issue is so serious that it’s been labelled “diaper need”.
But, One Diaper Canada is here to help! This budding charity helps families in need by providing them with cloth diaper kits, an item that requires a greater upfront investment that underprivileged families may not be able to afford right from the get-go.
