Shield K9 Protection Dogs

Shield K9 is based in Puslinch, Ontario and is a leader in the training and selling of working dogs for personal safety, security, and law enforcement applications. They also run a Presa Canario breeding program, which provides them with a ready source of puppies for their renowned protection program.

CryoDragon was approached by Shield K9 to create a brand new website for the sale of their trained dogs and puppies. The approach to this website was simple: make it easy to navigate, and stick with a tactical theme that embodies the idea of “protection”.

Throughout the website, a grunge and concrete texture was used as a background to accentuate the tactical component of theme. This texture was coupled with a parallax effect to make it move as the user scrolls across the page. The military green and teal blue colour accents were used with Black Ops typography to give more character to the theme itself.

Site visitors can easily view available dogs and puppies for sale, where every dog has their own individual page and custom image gallery. If visitors are interested in buying a dog, they can purchase them through a custom form built for Shield K9. The custom purchase form takes the buyer through personal details, terms of agreement, as well as the choice of additional training packages and features for each dog.
