Hello all out there who see this or who follow us here at CryoDragon! We wish you all a happy Remembrance Day and would like to thank all of those who fought for our nations future and way of life. Conflict will never end, and there will always be a new generation of soldiers who enter the ranks of heroes, for protecting us and our way of life.
I have a few family members who fought in the great wars, both grandfathers in World War II. One in the Navy, and the other in the Army. Some of their brothers were also in Korea and other family members in the middle east in the 90’s. It’s a shame that in this day and age, we still need to lose lives over conflicts between nations, but I don’t see the world changing any time soon.
So, for them, I would like to offer a heartfelt thank you, and wish you and your families well. You not only sacrificed your lives, your time in life, but in some cases your families who could not understand the way of life.
We sometimes forget that some men were drafted to the wars and when they were 18-25 years old, they were storming beaches and being bombarded by shellfire. We get upset when we have a bad day, or we fail on a test, things that seen so trivial in comparison.
