Well another year has passed and we are back to the fall holiday. Another Thanksgiving weekend is upon us and I have been looking forward to it. I, like most people enjoy the long weekends and the opportunity to be surrounded by friends and family. We don’t get together as often as we would like, so these special days are well needed and deserved.
I also enjoy the weather this time of year. The heat waves of Southern Ontario have subsided and the cooler weather has begun. I am able to get out and walk around more and enjoy the changing colour of the leaves, without being bothered by insects or extreme humidity. I know many people hate the fact that summer is over, but another winter will make us appreciate the next one to come even more.
The grocery stores are stocking their pumpkins again and the feeling of Halloween is also getting closer. Like most places, we will be closing CryoDragon down for the Thanksgiving weekend and will be enjoying our personal time together.
We wish you a nice weekend with your loved ones and hope you have a great Thanksgiving dinner. I am looking forward to another large turkey with all the side dishes, and the pumpkin deserts.
Thanksgiving is also a time to appreciate your dear ones and acquaintances for what they have done for you.
