Louis XIV Games is an online store that sells replacement pieces for out-of-print strategic board wargames that were popular in the early years of wargaming. From Avalon Hill’s Stalingrad to SPI’s Panzer Armee Africa, Louis XIV specializes in not only replicating replacement pieces for their growing collection of out-of-print wargames, but also redesigning them for different gameplay or improved aesthetics.
CryoDragon had the pleasure of developing an eCommerce online store for Louis XIV Games. The website project involved integrating a WooCommerce WordPress platform into the website and creating different categories of games from naval warfare to fictitious campaigns that customers could click on to narrow their search. Products were added in with individual galleries and product descriptions. Custom payment gateways and shipping options were coded in to allow for more flexibility in purchases, as well as a custom slider and blog.
